Daybreak Ministries was founded by a group of concerned citizens, moved by the Roe vs. Wade decision of January 22, 1973 which legalized abortion. In November of 1983, this group of concerned citizens which represented several area evangelical churches, realized that it was not enough to simply say abortion was wrong. They knew that real help needed to be offered during this time of crisis. Setting out to accomplish this goal, Daybreak Ministries, a crisis pregnancy center, was formed.
